About the walk:

The Munro, Glas Tulaichean (grey-green hill) – 1051m, is a large, complex hill with many spurs and ridges. Starting at Dalmunzie Hotel (pronounced ‘dalmunny’), we first follow the track bed of the old estate railway to Glen Lochsie Lodge. It was used to transport shooting guests together with any deer they had shot. After new national safety rules for railways were introduced, it closed in 1978.  Thereafter it’s a good track almost to the top of the hill.

Return is via Gleann Taitneach, where golden eagles are occasionally seen, to the Dalmunzie Hotel for refreshments.
