About the walk:

The Angus Munro Mayar -928m, is usually climbed from Glen Doll. Here we use a route from Auchavan in Glen Isla which gives a completely different aspect of the hill. It is effectively a summit on the SE tip of a high moorland plateau; hence the name which is probably a version of the Scots muir (moor). The summit is followed by a descent north into Corrie Fee, a newly designated natural heritage area, ending in the car park at Glen Doll.
