About the walk:

This walk starts and finishes in the interesting small town of Dunkeld with its cathedral, restored 17th century buildings and Thomas Telford bridge (1809) over the Tay. The bridge was the site of several anti-toll riots until it was adopted by the county council in 1869 and the toll gates removed. We will visit Loch of (the) Lowes where the Scottish Wildlife Trust have a reserve famous for its Ospreys in the summer months.  The visitor centre will unfortunately be closed but there should still be plenty of wildlife around the loch.
