Straloch - Kindrogan Woods

Distance: 8km/5miles.  Ascent 240m.
Start: Bus leaves Royal Hotel Blairgowrie, Blairgowrie 09:00.
Finish: Bus leaves for refreshments at Strathardle Inn 13:30.  Bus leaves for Blairgowrie at 14:30.
Limit: 25
Notes: Moderate.  Hillwalking gear required. Packed lunch required.

About the walk:

A new start location at Glen Brerachan for this wander through seldom-walked woods, around the viewpoint of Kindrogan Hill with (weather permitting) stunning views north towards the hills bordering Glen Shee and down Strathardle. This is a pleasant forest walk, with opportunities to spot such wildlife as red squirrels, roe deer, pheasant, and goldcrests.  You may even see sign sof Pine Martens on the ground!  Finishing in Enochdu where the bus will take us to Kirkmichael for a welcome drink.
