Distance:  app 5km/3miles, 10m ascent
Start:  Royal Hotel, Blairgowrie. 11:00

Finish:  Bus leaves for Blairgowrie at 14:30
Limit: 12
Notes: Easy. Stout walking shoes and appropriate outer clothing.  Packed lunch required.

About the walk:  

Ospreys are regular visitors though cannot be guaranteed at this time of year.  This loch is a winter refuge for swans and geese.  There is also a regular population of black-headed gulls, which contrary to popular opinion have always an inland as well as coastal bird.  An RSPB Ranger will accompany you round the loch.
