Booking Form and Schedule

Please use this email form to make your bookings, select the walks and entertainment you wish to participate in and press the Submit button.  This will be sent to the Organisers office who will confirm your booking.  All walks are subject to availability but we will be collating 'reserve' lists.  Please also read the further information available at this link.  Walk details can be found by clicking on each event name below.  For non-package accommodation information please contact the Blairgowrie Tourist Information Centre, details also on the information page.  For other walks or similar ones at different times please visit Outdoor Adventures.

If you wish to contact the organisers with a query you can also use the contact form as it is much shorter!  An alternative Word™ based booking form that can be posted to us is downloadable from this link.

All the walks are subject to amendment and alteration depending on weather or other conditions outwith the organisers control.  The durations have been based on Naismith's rule (at 4km/h) and rounded up but may vary at the time of walking.  Signing on and registration is being held in the Royal Hotel, Blairgowrie as in previous years.  Finish times are an approximate return to Blairgowrie and are a guide only.  Please check back with the website from time to time for any changes, news or other updates.

If booking spaces for more than one person please put their names in the comments box.  Would you also please insert the details of anyone you would like to be notified in the event of any emergency.  This is for your safety in the highly unlikely event that the organisers may need to contact someone on your behalf.

Hillwalking and other outdoor pursuits are by their nature hazardous pastimes.  All reasonable steps have been taken to reduce risk.  It is a condition of booking that the participants acknowledge that decisions made by the organisers and walk leaders are final.  Children and vulnerable adults must be accompanied by a responsible adult.  By submitting the application form and/or any payment it is deemed that the above terms and those on the information page are accepted, and the organisers cannot be held responsible for any problems that may arise from any relevant undeclared matters.  You are also advised to let the walk leaders know if you have any underlying medical condition before leaving.  It may be necessary for a leader or the organisers to bar someone from a walk if in their opinion and based on their experience they are inadequately equipped or have a medical condition that may be exacerbated on that walk or event.  While this is regrettable the organisers and leaders are responsible for the safety of all participants.  Those taking part in the East Perthshire Walking Festival do so at their own risk. The organisers and sponsors of the event shall not be liable for any accident or injury, however caused. You are advised to check your own personal accident cover before taking part, a suitable policy can be obtained from www.thebmc.co.uk/insurance.

Selection of a particular route indicates that a walker is aware of the equipment and fitness levels required for that walk.

Please ensure that full payment is received in the administration and booking office as soon as possible, as until paid for a reservation cannot be confirmed.  Payment for walks should be made by 31st August, as after this date unpaid spaces may be given to those on any reserve list.  Bookings can continue to be made up to the start of any walk but to guarantee a place payment should be sent with the booking request.  You may pay by credit card if you wish and a PayPal payment email will be returned with confirmation of your bookings.  A PayPal account is not necessary for this.  Alternatively you can send an epayment direct from your Paypal account, but please ensure that full address and booking details are attached.  If you wish to pay by cheque, postal order, etc a booking confirmation and invoice will be sent by return.  Alternatively you can if you wish print the page out with completed boxes (or use the downloadable form) and send with your payment.  Cheques should be made payable to East Perthshire  Walking Festival.

Payment Type

Unfortunately if you use a hotmail, msn, yahoo, aol, or similar email address payment by credit card through PayPal from our return email may not work, instead you can use PayPal to send a payment, or use the cheque option.  A PayPal payment button will be in the email confirmation.

Before submitting the form it out and keep a copy for reference

Clicking on the submit button will send your requirements to the organisers, who will make a reservation in your name.  To confirm the booking the full payment should be sent as soon as possible after you receive our confirmation email.  Walk reservations not paid for by 31st August may be offered to the reserve list.  After this date please send your payment with the booking.  If you prefer you may print the form out (though you will save paper by using the booking form from the downloadable brochure) and send it to the organisers at East Perthshire  Walking Festival, NSC Design Ltd, Balmacron Farmhouse, Meigle, Perthshire, PH12 8TD.  tel 01828 640763.

It is important to keep checking with this website prior to the start of the event as there may be some changes to the schedule due to matters outwith our control
